if all of the raindrops were lemon-drops and gum-drops,
oh, what a rain it would be.

1 more week of classes before easter break (:
~3 weeks till i head back to singapore!
i think i need to go on a veg&water detox diet for a week.
we went down to waitrose over the weekend and bought a 1 kg chunk of beef forerib, roasted it with salt and pepper (yumm) and finished all of it in one sitting :s and yesterday, we roasted a shoulder of lamb (double yumm)- we poked holes to bury garlic and rosemary beneath the surface, all you could see was little sprigs of rosemary at the surface that looked like little tufts of grass - and braised a sheep's heart stuffed with mushrooms and garlic. not sure why we decided to try it, we just saw it at the farmer's market and decided to give it a go. it's all right, but not spectacularly tasty, or maybe we just didn't cook it well. hmm. actually, the thought of eating a heart is quite a nauseating.
i also had my college's subject dinner last night. I'd completely forgotten abt it, until my tutorial partner gave me a call. My tutor told him to tell me that I -had- to turn up and that he "didn't care what i was wearing". So there i was scruffy and all while everyone else was in their suits and dresses (: We had parsnip soup, guinea fowl and ginger cheesecake, followed by fruits, chocolate and coffee. I didn't really want to eat much because i kept thinking abt the roast lamb back home.
there's a talk by tim keller tonight in the town hall - "belief in an age of scepticism"! (:
