cheesecake!

when we got bored.

the friday after national day should be declared a public holiday. half the office wasnt around! so we interns ended up being really really REALLY bored. to pass time, we played pool, read books and had an extended lunch break.

fortunately jan was a kind soul and came by to whip me off to ikea =) bought my mirror -alex! we 'll have a full-length mirror in our apartment next year!- and photo frames. it was tennis after. haha. sorry bertrand!! reallyreally sorry. =( thanks for being such a lovely first year!

todaay. i slept in for once =) met yiqi's friend to pass on the comics i brought back for him from oxford...attended the uk fair (which was really boring)...shopped a little...then we had pepper crabsssss! yummyumm. lovely, yum. and i got stuck watching the serial abt the chinese singer zhou xuan - it's quite quite addictive, and it makes you appreciate music from that era.

all activities aside. i've been running around like a headless chicken and havent had a chance to really catch up with VIPs in my life =( and with the VVIP of my life.
