zhijing brought a cake to ifocus (bible study session) from maison blanc yesterday and it was simply heavenlyyy not to mention gorgeous. yummm. =) and the discussion passage was revelations 4. it was very thought provoking...answered some of the questions I've been asking, praise the Lord for that. It's really amazing how He answers your questions in all kinds of ways just when you ask them. The scene of heaven it paints is simply beyond our imaginations...reminds me of the song, I can only imagine. and I thought the talk came at such an appropriate time for me - are we letting our fears of what will happen keep us quiet, keep us from sharing the gospel?
Jesus' name deserves (deserves is an understatement) to be revered - that's why we should tell others about Him.

it's barely been a week and a half since term started and it hasnt been too exciting here. but well =) busybusy, lots of work as usual...bahh. I'll survive !
so last night was hilarious...alex was over and the three of us ended up talking nonsense...evidence of my...well, silliness:

Alex: it's weird, but, almost all my friends are girls!
Me: hmmm...but that's not really weird, most of my friends are girls too!

Yinyin: a man died because he jumped down his chimney to clear a chimney block.
Me: oh dear. but how high is a chimney?
Alex: umm....depends on the house maybe???

I'm very sure my tutors are regretting their decision to admit me.
lalala. sara won some contest that someone else entered her name for, so we're heading down to london in 2 weeks time to redeem the prize =)) my first trip down to london! hahaha, chicaa, i'm quite excited really...haha, alex and yinyin were very jealous when i told them about it.

surprise birthday party! haha, i think it's the first time I've been successful in planning and executing one...=) yinyin was terribly surprised....she thought i'd gone to sleep coz the light was off...muahaha. the waiting part isnt anything like what it looks like in friends. there were a million false alarms! haha, we turned the lights off whenever we heard footsteps and waited with bated breath...only to find it was someone going to the toilet. bahh. haha, but well, it was a success =)) yayy. She was hanging around the lodge waiting for the people with her to go back to the room while they were waiting for her to go back to the room...so we devised plans to get her to come back to the room. these included:

1. me running down to the lodge frantically, looking for the porter because a pigeon had flown into the room
2. me ringing her to tell her her mum called 5 times....[then we decided that was a mean thing to do because she'll think something terrible happened]....because she has good news!
3. me ringing to tell her her pet died [she doesnt have a pet]
4. me ringing her, crying because mY pet died.

but well, she came up eventually coz the others pretended to go home. =) haha

it's going to be a good term.

Party Rings!!! haha, every single person in the room (well, except Laura) was scandalized that I'd never eaten one before...
