uwc award ceremony - 17 August 2006! =)congrats to this year's scholars!
yupp. and a bit of publicity again - UWC Central Presentation on the 19th of August at UWC SEA for all those interested in the movement/in the scholarship. It's a no-strings-attached, bond-free scholarship to Norway, Italy, Canada or USA and it's an indescribable experience =) been helping to organize the award ceremony though it's mainly Natalie and Adeline running the show. They're really brilliant =) this thing's gonna work out wonderful! It's nice to see the national committee come together to pull this off =) Hopefully this is the start of a revival!

yupyupp. went back to canossaville children's home to help in the thrift store todayy. it was reallyyy nice to see brother wong and all the staff there again...unfortunately Auntie Susan wasn't there. Hopefully it was just today! The children were adorable of course =) Sock Ching's P6 already! and PSLE is almost here! haha. she insisted that she's been studying...although her cheeky grin makes me worryworry. Being there makes you see life in a completely different way. It makes you thankful, guilty and hopeful all at the same time. You just realize that life can go on no matter the plight you're in and reminds me that the little troubles in my life are so terribly trivial. And just seeing the children with their parents puts a smile on your face =))

ohhh yes! who is willing to play tennis with me???? haha. my first tennis lesson yesterday! it was excellent excellent! =) haha. I'm the youngest in the class, although there's a nice nice girl, Uma, who's 22 and Yi Mei who's 24. We learnt the forehand and backhand =) yes, i cAN get the ball over the net! I'm glad I decided to take up tennis =) and it's motivated me to get ultra-fit once again! ultra-ultra-fit.
