oh, what a rain it would be.

international understanding in hopscotch. well, aPPArently, singaporeans like to push themselves in every way possible...that it even begins when they're kids - in hopscotch. haha. so yess...the way I used to play it in mgs was that you left your playing piece on the square that you were last at...and the next person that goes has to avoid all the squares with people's playing piece on it...which makes it harder coz sometimes you have to jump across 3 squares etc. aND it's your turn until you touch a line or you dont manage to throw your thing onto the right square.
yup. so in china/spain/ireland everyone has one turn and it keeps rotating that way. and you pick up your stone or pinecone in our case on the way back, leaving the whole hopscotch thingii empty. haha. rather unchallenging if you ask me...which brings us back to the comment that singaporeans like to push themselves. haha.
chemistry exam today and tmr...then it's dinner at Sooke Harbour House! =) I'm rather excited about that. -grin- my uncle is extremely generous - he offered to give me and my friends a treatt before the term ends, at this wonderful restaurant with wonderful food and an excellent view. it's on a bay...and they come up with a new menu everyday with yummy things like rabbit meat, duck pate thingiss, edible flowers in their salads, cucumber sorbet etc. =) and the waiters arent at all snobbby though its such a fancy place. my roomie and I went with my uncle at the beginning of the year not knowing what to expect so we were rather sloppily dressed...haha. but they treated us really nicely anywayy =) i like places like that. they make me happy.
thennn. the weekend...lots of packing to do. and cramming for spanish, which i havent touched for almost the past month. yikess. oh well =) oh yess. and the jump. it's gonna be coooldddddd. did i mention that the weather's been absolutely brilliant here? yupp =) that makes me happy too.
then it's off to vancouver, toronto, montreal and finally, back to singapore!
