oh, what a rain it would be.

=( tummy flu's horrid. im stuck in bed with a painful tummy that's threatening to make me throw up anytime. but well, at least i get a day off school! so i guess i'll be stuck in bed for today...im real glad i there's wireless access in my room = )
asia pacific national day's in 2 days! we're gonna wake the campus up at 8:30am with chinese instrumental music and serve miso soup and green tea. haha. oh dear. kind of odd i know` if only we could have nasi lemak or you zha kuay or roti prata... then there are the workshops...followed by the food market - im making bak ku teh~ haha, hope that turns out ok! =) we've got lots and lots of ppl cooking...i think it'll be yummy yum yum. and for the formal dinner, they decided to go along with the dessert i suggested - pisang goreng topped off with icecream! =) hope that turns out as tasty as it should =) im still deciding between the green dress and the black one. oh well!
after dinner, there'll be the asia pacific show. alex and i came up with a candle dance...haha, it's quite funny really. it's basically the malay kind of dance with tealight candles in a bowl and you twist the bowl arnd and stuff....but it's with chinese music and we're wearing simple white skirts and pastel tops. quite singaporean right? haha...simply because we're mixing things from different ethnic groups. -grin- ohh...and there's the thai dance too...in which steven the male chauvinist keeps making me laugh and forcing me to curtsey lower. and finally, to end the day...there's the partyy~ it's gonna be a busy busy day! =) lots of phototaking i'll bet.
asia pacific build up week has been going smoothly =) during lunch, we have quizes, on random facts about asia pacific countries [ie how many sheep are there in NZ? or how many wives did the samurai generals in the edo era have?] and at dinner we've had live performances and the noodle challenge [we prepared 4 kinds of noodles, blindfolded them, fed them and they had to guess the brand of noodles they'd just eaten]...we thought it was real simple...but turns out only asians could tell the difference! yupp. and today there's gonna be the chopstick challenge [they have to pick random things up with chopsticks...that'll be quite quite entertaining..] and tmr there's gonna be a "dress up like an asia pacificer" competition =) hahah.
ohhh...there's this real sweeet movie from msia that i really wanna watch just coz it'll totally remind me of home =) it's abt ah loong, a chinese boy who sells pirated vcds [how singaporean/malaysian is that] but loves to read poetry and literary works, who falls in love with a malay girl who comes to his vcd store to buy wong kar wai works. -awww-
yupyup. guess i'll go get some work done now since im stuck in bed anywayy. turraa*
