if all of the raindrops were lemon-drops and gum-drops,
oh, what a rain it would be.

fridday was world religions day...the objective for the day was to discuss the impact of religion on our everyday lives~ and so the day started out with an activity where everyone was given a piece of paper with 2 markings on it, and we gathered in groups according to that marking...so the first marking resulted in groups which represented the different proportions of various religions in the world. the second marking resulted in groups representing the proportions of religions in Pearson. as expected, there was a much larger proportion of free-thinkers in pearson than there is in the world. yupyup. then there was a talk by an expert in tibetan buddhism and east asian religions...followed by workshops
tatenda ran the christianity workshop with me...which turned out more confrontational than i had expected. some of the people who attended the workshop were people from christian fellowship and i was wondering why they didnt go to other workshops just to learn abt other religions, coz some of them were quite fascinating...like quakerism and communism etc. after the workshop...i realized that me and tatenda would never have survived without them there and the Lord had put them there deliberately to provide support. His plans are simply amazing. both me and tatenda were on the verge of tears at one point...but well, we survived =) haha. and i have to say the questions asked were very thought provoking and insightful...to look at Christianity from a non-believers pov...made us reflect upon what we believe in and its implications. yupp. so that was that.
1st year theatre performance on saturday! both my first year roomies are in theatre and they were absolutely brilliant =) haha...i felt like a proud mother watching her kids perform. haha. oh well. another tiring week ahead! not by strength nor by might but by His Spirit.
