first day of project week =)
leticia, emily and i are staying at alex's place for the week..
his house is really really nice and reallyreally comfortable and his entire family is so friendly and welcoming. it's so nice to be back in a real home again...an asian one esp.
yupyup. it's almost 10am and we're all just bumming in bed.

so the trip here was the nicest victoria-vancouver trip i've ever made...guess it's coz it's the first time it started off at a decent hour of 10am. read "the physicists" on the ferry rider here. and i have to say it's truly a brilliant play. liked it lots. it's basically abt 3 physicists who're living in this santorium...and they seem mad yet sane yet mad at the same time that the whole play's real messed up and confusing at the start and it's absurdity and craziness just makes you laugh and wonder what's happening. but in act 2. the pieces just fit together so nicely and all that absolute chaos just makes so much sense. haha. it deals basically with the issue of science and morality - whether scientists should be solely concerned with making scientific advancement and discovery, and not feel responsible for the implications of these discoveries on mankind. haha.

yupyup. and alex's mum made us green curry and some roast pork thingii which was soooooooo nice. =) felt like i was eating dinner back home again =)
then we went downtown at9am to meet matthieu and stephanie. [finally we were back in a city] haha. at the street corner, alex got approached by this mad man who told him he's his father. leticia and i were clutching on to each other, terribly apprehensive. hahah. and alex just acted like it happened to him every other day and said "leticia, debra, lets go this way" and took us on a detour... haha. yikes.
and alex was really proud o himself coz he was surprised that he was worrying abt our safety rather than his own when talking to that man..coz he was afraid he'd attack us. haha. =) we were terribly touched. thanks alex =)
so we just ended up walking along robson street [which is sth like orchard road] and ate heavenly gelato at this gelato place. leticia's flavours were amazing - ferrero rocher and biscotini.

=) finally, inspired by chan's blog. i decided to put up some photos of sunsets as well =)
