really glad we went to church this morning though it was metchosin day.
the sermon was abt opportunities. thought it was so timely that God spoke to me abt not living life to the edge - to create some leeway so that i'll be able to seize opportunities to serve Him when they come along, esp with regards to time and money... i shouldnt schedule my day to the last hour. or when someone needs help or to talk or some opportunity to serve Him arises I wont be available to do it.
yupp. and how we should prepare for upcoming opportunities through prayer and fellowship with Him and fellow believers...to pray for wisdom to know which are opportunities He presents to us and for wisdom to know how to respond to it.
then it was metchosin day...the weather was just BRILLIANT. completely brilliant! =) nice and sunny and hot. loved it! haha. just that it was wayyy too windy and my hair went completely haywire. hahah...but well. everyone was simply soooo pretty in their national costumes! =) so colourful and elaborate.
i decided to go indian...i think i mentioned that before. i'll be chinese some other time.
so yes. i was indian - complete with bangles, earrings, and the thingii you stick on your forehead. haha. then dinner at my-chosen cafe. amazing hot fudge brownie sundae...and on the way back to college we stopped to pick blackberries =) nice way to top the meal off!
