mmm, friday was my last day going down to cch as a volunteer. but i'll be there again on friday to learn punch craft from aunty susan =) get to see all of them again! haha. aunty susan is one of the nicest, most amazing ladies i've ever met... just watching her handle the children with just the right balance of discipline, fun and mollycoddling is inspiring. her every action - whether it's scolding the kids, punishing them, hugging them, giving out vitamins or just teaching them math - shows the magnitude of her love for them. she's familiar with the family background of every single one of them and guides them accordingly. She knows who lacks manners, who needs to be encouraged gently, who needs to be treated sternly and all...quite quite fascinating. it seemed like favouritsm at first, coz she's really kind to some and fierce to others...but after a while, i realized she's just doing what's necessary for each of them. and her job's reallyreally tough...she works from like 7 in the morning till 7 at night, plus weekends coz they always organize outings for the little ones. it's amazing how she keeps up with it all and never falls sick. not to mention she's in charge of producing little knick-knacks, craftwork, cards etc. to sell for fundraising projects.

when i grow up, i want to be filled with love for others like her =)
