haha. it's 12:17am and i just got back a while ago...been out since 8:30am and i'm terribly exhausted! =(
soooo, yes. i started the day off at canossaville children's home by giving tuition to this little girl called sock ching. well, she's not tHAt little, but quite little. primary 5. and she's really sweet =) haha, taught her science and then spelling. she's actually real smart but just doesnt want to put in effort or show her teacher that she's smart. oh well. then we just chatted for a bit and got to know each other, it was really nice=)
tHen, it was off to aunty susan's class...to help watch the kids and do arts and craft stuffis. the kids were like kindergarden, p1-p3. haha. they were sooo noisy and mischievous initially and kept pulling my arm asking me to read to them [i tell you, children storybooks should not be longer than 20pages. i had to read a version of cinderella which was 30 pages long! it was filled with pictures but still] or showing me cards they drew for their mothers, or complaining about some other kid etc. absolutely adorable =)
haha, then it was lunch time and i ended up having to feed the little ones or they would have taken an hour to finish. nap time followed! -phew- they were listening to christian songs while they slept! reminded me of my sunday school days =) and the songs got stuck in my head... "our God, is an awesome God, He reigns from heaven above, with wisdom power and love, our God is an awesome God", "Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path". meaningful meaningful lyrics.
did some arts and craft stuff to sell to raise funds for the sch while they slept.
haha, when they woke up, we had to help them tie their hair, gel it and put on makeup! =) because they all had to perform that evening for a school concert.
hahaha. lots and lots of fun! =) they just lined up for me to tie their hair [haha. i totally felt like being a mum as i was combing their hair...hahah] then it was makeup. the best best part!
then there was glitter to put in their hair and face and stuff so they'll be sparkly and pretty. haha, they tOtAlly got carried away and just sPLAshed themselves with it! all over all over!
then we had to do damage control to get the splotches of glitter off their faces. hah
hahaha. then the p3s sat there playing with the make up, applying for each other, and looking absolutely pleased with themselves. hahah, it was simply simply....-aww-
all the kids there were really chatty. they'd just come up to me and start talking about their family, made me feel quite sad for a while, but yet encouraged that despite their situations they were all still so happy.
some of them thought i was mArRIed!?! haha, so cute.
by the end of the day they were all holding on to my arm, dragging me around or gathering around to talk to me. those little darlings =) looking forward to seeing them next week! =)

tHEn. it was off to the VJ tsd performance...it was good stuff! very interesting really. haha, though we ended up with pins and needles prEtty often coz we had to sit on the floor. yupp.
after that me and bernice went off to thomson for prata! =) prata boMb, kosong and milo dinosaur! yummy!

haha. this is definitely the longest entry i've ever written.
time to go to bed now! =)
